KevieBear and his dog Scrappy are practicing their fishing techniques. KevieBear loves to fish. Some bears like to stand in cold rivers and grab fish with their teeth. KevieBear prefers fly fishing from the safety of the deck or doorstep.

The fish aren't biting today. Maybe some bait would help. Who has the worms? There they are!

K-Bear:   "Oh my. I... I... I think I'm going to be sick. You bait the hook Scrappy! I can't bear to look."

Scrappy: "Those aren't real worms. They're gummy worms."

K-Bear:   "That's even worse! I can't stand to have sticky candy on my paws."

Scrappy: "Oh brother." 

K-Bear:   "What was that! A big, hairy, red flying monster!

Scrappy:  "That was a bird. See it's there in the tree."

K-Bear:   "I don't think that's a bird! I'm not taking any chances. I'd better find my bug netting. It came in handy when I was making that film in the jungle."

Scrappy: "I thought you got that off a bag of pears at the grocery store yesterday."

K-Bear:   'Who cares! The important thing is to protect my delicate fur from marauding creatures!"

Scrappy goes back into the house before the neighbors and the mailman see him standing on the step next to a bear with a mesh bag from the grocery store on his head.
